Lol

You need to contact the motherboard manufacturer. I could only guess and that would not be a solution.

i used to refurbish that exact model of dell, 9/10 times it was a power supply issue. Other times the motherboard would be dead.

SOURCE: Upgrade the CPU in a Dell Dimensions XPS Gen 4

The fastest processor for that motherboard is the Northwood. 3.46 Extreme Processor:

Since the Dell chassis is proprietary, a standard motherboard will not easily adapt, it would be better to replace the system than to try an upgrade this one.

I just loaded windows xp pro on this computer that someone gave me. Its telling me that I don't have a sound device. I think that the sound device is built-in the motherboard. I check inside for the...

If it has built in sound you would see the familiar RCA jacks in the back of the PC, if not that NO sound - but almost all MOBO have integrated sound these days.

Next question do you have speakers (external or internal ) hooked up properly?

Likely to be a driver issue - or the sound card is faulty

Dell has proprietary motherboards, so most retail mobos out in the market would either not fit into the chassis. if the system is still in warranty. call in for a replacement mobo. otherwise try reaching their out-of-warranty dept/ spare parts dept.

Hi I like to download VGA driver for Dell model (62 jvh REV A00)for motherboard is FOXCONN Kind Regards Phumlani

This model specification does not match any Dell models. You may find a service tag or express service code number on a sticker which would help identify. You can also go to the Dell support site and have your computer scanned and all relevant drivers detected and made available for download to you.
