SOURCE: tub seal repair
If you are talking about the front door boot seal it is not a fun thing to do but to replace the boot you have to remove the front cover by using a putty knife on each side once you have removed the pretty cover you need to remove the front door and the door boot from the door then the front panel 5/16" screws usually the cover usually wont come off all the way so you have to work around it it will come off but you have to finagle around under the top cover to get the screws.once you doo all this you have to pull the old boot from the tub. now going back with it is the fun part the boot locks on to the tub with a locking lip and if it dont lock it will come off while putting spring back on.Once you have the boot locked with the lips you have to put the wire spring into a groove and then put on the spring you you are able to get this far you are doing fine.after putting spring on pull alittle on the boot to make sure it is secure. If it is put front panel back on ,secure boot on the lip to the door and put on pretty cover then leak check.BUT GET READY TO SAY SOME UN GODLY WORD THIS IS NOT A EASY TASK AND IF YOU HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE PLAN ON A DARN NEAR WHOLE DAY JOB GOOD LUCK and let me know how it goes

you need a 1/4" nut driver and a spanner wrench-start by taking 1/4" screw located toward lower part of agitator, its recessed, take it out, then lift out agitator, then mark where your drum is so you get replaced in that location(counter-weights)then take spanner wrench and loosen nut that holds the wash tub and lift out tub, turn tub over and w/rubber mallet driveout old seal,to aid in new seal install lightly lube with vegetable oil(wessonoil-pam cooking spray) and tap seal into place and re-install in reverse order
