SOURCE: My upper needle will not grasp my bobbin thread

Hi! This is almost always caused by the needle inserted incorrectly. There is a flat side on the needle shank and if this flat side isn't facing the right way, the top thread won't pick up the bobbin thread. (Bent or broken needles can also cause this, but you would have noticed a broken needle. :-) ). Check your manual to see which way the flat side of the need is supposed to go. (It seems to me that most machines have the flat side facing the rear of the machine--but please don't assume that's true for your machine.) I have machines on which the flat side faces to the lef and, faces to the right, but most of my machines (and certainly the more modern ones), the flat side faces to the rear.
Hope this helps!

While sewing, I am getting skip stiches from the top and lot of thread is accumulating at the bottom, as a result it's getting stuck. Please advice. Thanks

I suspect the thread has not passed through the tension discs correctly. Try re-threading and remember to raise the pressure foot when you thread. Or try cleaning the tension discs as there may be stray bits of thread stuck there.

I have two problems the first is that as i sew sometimes the fabric on the back side gets stuck and there are many pieces of thread coming up from the bobbin and get stuck the second question is everytime...

Check the bobbin tension and that the thread is tight around the bobbin. Make sure that the bobbin is in the right way around - the bobbin thread should double back on itself coming out of the bobbin holder.

Thread getting caught in bobbin area

If you are seeing the needle thread in loops and birdnests then its the needle thread you need to check. The main reason is it is not threaded through the takeup spring(the one that moves) This action is critical as it is how the thread is pulled up tight. Also make sure the needle thread is between the discs and that it has sufficient tension that you do not see it on the bottom of the material. Try this: Use two different color threads for needle and bobbin. If you see the needle color on the bottom then the needle thread is not tight enough (or in 5% of the cases the bobbin is too tight or hung up). Let me know how it does. Jay

Thread tension for regular seam sewing

oil the shaft for the presser bar and keep moving it up and down(it may take a while) until it moves freely. Always use Sewing machine oil Not 3N1 oil.
If the thread is loose on the bottom of the fabric, it's actually the top thread is too loose. Think of 2 little elves playing tug of war in your machine, one on top and one underneath. If you have loops on bottom, the top needs to pull harder (tighten top tension). If you have loose thread on top your top tension is probably too tight and your bobbin thread too loose

you have your thread tension too tight that's why it is pulling the bottom stitch all the way through it looks good from the bottom but not good on top. Its pulled the stitch all the way through the material.
I had my own upholstery shop 18 yrs and tension gets you every time.Just loosen the top tension.
