I am trying to set my recent documents in “Word 2007” and going into Word options, advance, and scroll down to display, the option to select between 1 and 50 documents is grayed out. It states that this option is currently disabled by the administrator and as the administrator I would like to enable this option. Does anyone have a fix for this? running XP Pro sp3, Office 2007

- Actually, was able to find an entry in the registry and deleted it: Now have selectable number of doc's in Words options. deleted registry key "NoRecentDocsHistory Reg_DWord" in registry.

- I believe the problem was in the Win XP Pro opperating system: It is a business copy and I found in the registry an entry that blocked the list from showing: I deleted the entry and now I have the ability to adjust the number of recent files to view.
