SOURCE: How to change blade on 10" Craftsman table saw?

you need to grab the blade with something.maybe some pliers(if you are not going to refurbish blade) and loosen the nut in the center of the blade. i think it is a left hand thread(cw to loosen) because of the rotation of the blade. if the nut is on the left when looking from the front it is probably left handed. make sure it's unplugged and wear leather gloves so you don't get cut. install in reverse...

SOURCE: Craftsman 10in Table Saw Model No. 315.218060 Dust bag

all the manual says is to insert the elbow onto the tube coming from motor and then install bag onto the elbow and for maximum performance empty the bag before it gets half full. On most table saws that I work on there is no fan or anything like that to force the dust away from unit, the best way is to run a shop vac and connect to the elbow for mazimum dust removal.

I have 2 Craftsman saws that are at least 50 years old and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the manufacture date of the saws. They work fine, just want to know when they were made.

If they are power saws, there are many forums with documentation uploaded on tools with manuals, shop service information, etc. If they're not, some of those forums still might have enthusiasts who could help you date them by things such as handle shape, tone of the stain on the handle, etc. I've also found that the usually frustrating parts business online ("Part Not Available") still has information sometimes, such as manuals, etc., for tools going back that far. I found documentation on a drill press I've got that was made in '65.

I need the image of these conections

Look up your model on the www.sears.com/parts web site. The manual may be still avaible there too. If it isn't use the first part of the model (example: 110.1223456- 110- is a whilpool product) to find the manufacture , then call them direct.

I have the same table saw. Mine has done that for the past 25 years and I've always considered that it's just the flexible shaft coming up to speed. It's never given me any problems so haven't looked into any further.

Motor has started t0 smoke and trips circuit breaker

On the motors I deal with there is a series of numbers that identify the shaft size, hp and all other requirements. I would try and contact a local Grainger and see if they can help, if not try in the yellow pages for a motor repair shop in your area and sometimes they can get you one. Good luck
