Help with correcting fault code f-5

Try the brushes first. I'm guessing the carbon deposits on the floor are from the brushes.

It means water level switch jammed on full.
You need to check and clean pump filter.
Remove lower rear panel of washer.
Locate and remove large black hose fastened to bottom of drum.
Remove and clean plastic filter inside the hose
Reassemble and water test..

the belt has come off or broken on the back take lid or back panel off and have a look

Error code F05 indicates pressure switch jammed on full.
Remove lower rear panel of washer.
Remove large black hose on bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here as well.

Make sure there is no water in drum before you start.

Error F-02 is a slow drain problem. Undo and remove the wide tapering pipe from the bottom of the drum to the pump. Inside you will find a non return ball valve, clean this and your problem should be solved

E15 means that it is not draining fast enough. As well as checking the outlet pipes, check the filter leading to the pump. Disconnect the power and pipe. If possible take outside because there will be a residual amount of water. Remove the back panel, then disconnect the locking rings holding the tubes on. Your main target should be the big downflow rubber tube from the drum, in here is a plastic filter. In mine I found a child's sock... plus buttons...plus slime. Problem solved.

IT WILL EITHER BE BEHIND FRONT PANEL OR TILT MACHINE ON ITS BACK IT COULD BE ACCESSED THROUGH THE BOTTOM ITS A ROUND THING WITH SMALL SCREW IN IT REMOVE SCREW AND TWIST AND CAREFULLY REMOVE TAKE CARE WITH WATER AS WATER THATS IN DRUM WILL BE REALEASED ONCE YOU DO THIS BUT IF BLOCKED WITH A PENNY OR FLUFF OR WHATEVER MACHINE WILL NOT DRAIN OR SPIN

F-12 is a drain problem.

Check if the drain hose is free, if cycle stops and gives you f12 without draining the water, there is a problem with the drain system.

The Hotpoint should have a removable paner at the back on the lower side. The panel gives access to the pump. If cleaning the drain hose does not solve the problem, the pump must be removed and cleaned or replaced.The repair should be done by a technician.

I have a ultima WMD940 won't drain and comes up code F05. Please can you help my washing is piling up
