Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Try sending A4 or letter size to the bypass. if the same problem is risen then you will most likely have a problem with the bypass itself and nothing you have done or are doing.
The other way to check is to set a 11" x 17" in the second tray and try it that way if that goes through then there is no problem with the way you are doing things and the problem lyes with the bypass section.
Please try these and I hope they are of some help to you

You should just be able to place paper on the tray and then select the bypass tray under "properties", "Paper", then under "tray" select "bypass tray" when printing.

This is happening to me also. The rollers sound like they're turning, but the paper doesn't advance. I then go into th emachine and spin the roller cam a bit and it seems to clear the problem. Any idea what's happening?
