The fan has stopped working, and the projector has shut down and will not turn on. The bulb is still OK.

The thermal fuse behind the lamp module has opened (usually due to a high internal temperature). On some occasions, this is caused by a fan belt failure. Because this involves primary voltage, I would recommend you take the projector to an authorized repair dealer.

When projector is powered starts beeping then display fan failure
There is a service manual, use the troubleshooting procedures, and you should be able to find out whats wrong. It could be your thermal fuse, or your lamp, or the ballast, so you will have to troubleshoot to find out.

I just replaced a power supply, it has one fan instead of 2. Works great but now I get an error message saying it can't find the fan (which I'm no longer using), how do I get rid of the message?

replace the fan. it needs all the fans the projector was designed with to properly cool it down. without all the fans, the lamp will overheat and cause premature lamp and projector failure. the fan has 3 wires- ground, power and sensor. if the fan spins too slow or not at all, the projector will shut down to prevent damage.

so, replace the fan.
