Question about a4 quattro avant fuse holder for lambda probe engine control
Posted by Anonymous on
The question remained unanswered for almost a year ;
What is a lambada sensor ? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Allow me to explain.
The sensor referred to as a Lambada sensor is in fact an Oxygen sensor 02S , it is the key sensor in the engine fuel feedback control .
The engine computer uses the 02 sensors input to balance the fuel mixture . The sensor reacts to unburned oxygen in the exhaust .
Failure of the 02 sensor will result in the fuel consumption rising to about 50% above the normal 14.7-1 air fuel ratio and definitely failing a smog test .
