Question about HP Compaq nx5000 Notebook
Hello! I don´t know if this is a hardware or software problem.. but i ask anyway. For some wierd reason my laptop speakers dosent work. But if i plug in headphones or speakers it works but not the speakers on the computer i don´t know why.. >

It is definately a hardware problem if you are plugging whichever into the sound slot. The internal speakers are suppose to switch off when you plug into it and visa versa when you unplug.
To fix this most would replace the socket but that would mean you have to get into the computer. Then again if you know what you are doing you fix this up. At some stage some one force something into that socket and expanded it to stop the switch from workking.
