SOURCE: Lasko 5610 red caution light, no power

In the bottom of th e 5610 there are 2 automatic reset breakers. In betwene the two there is wire connecting them together. In the middle of this wire is a thermal resister and thats what repaired mine. Replace it and your heater will heat again.

SOURCE: how do i prevent my lasko heater to keep raising the temperature? i can't seem to set it to stay on one!

If its a central heating unit you should make sure the batteries in the thermostat are good and the fan switch is on auto. then you can open the cover to the heater and tap on the relay. that will usually shut it off if its just sticking. It could be a black box by itself or a box on the circuit board depending on the model

I have a heater that keeps turning itself off even though I have the thermostat set at 70

probbaly a limit switch, not easy fix.got to open it up, short switch and run awhile if its ok then replace limit or risk fire.if it still quits then its thermostat.sometimes there is a tiny little screw behind the knob you can adjust

Hi, I have the Lasko Ceramic Elements heaters. When I plug it in, the light lights up to show it's plugged in, but when I try to press the POWER button turn it on, it beeps but does not do start heating...

If I am getting this right you just purchased this heater? I would return it and get another one. It sounds like the tip over switch is not made and will only show that power is getting to it but the tip switch is keeping it from heating.

My lasko 5160 is flashing 88 with some other lights on,what do i do

At least for the Model 5165, the "88" means there is a circuit error -- probably applies to other models as well. First, call Lasko Customer Service 1-800-233-0268 (M-F, 8AM-5PM, EST). Have your receipt ready. Lasko will ask for a engraved number at the bottom of the heater, may have to look a few times to see it, normally about the serial number. Hope this helps!

Clean the filter : Lasko Model #5812

First make sure heater is unplugged. Next, on the side of the heater locate two holes (see image) these are what's keeping everything in front together. unscrewing these and genty pulling sides out lwill release the top filter and front where control knob is and bottom filter where the heated air comes out. Clean filter & re assemble.

I have a lasko tower ceramic heater that keeps shutting down.

mine does the same thing every year. I just clean out the dust from the vents on the back of the heater so the heater can breath otherwise it could get too hot and the safety fetcher kick in and makes the heater stop working.

Lasko 5365 heater making growling sound.

sounds to me like you have a fan blade hitting something inside the unit, or the motor is going bad, thats the only moving parts to the unit unless it has a sweeping mode, moves from side to side, if it doesnt have that, then its your fan motor or blade, you probably need to replace the motor or the whole unit, as they are fairly inexspecive, but its your call, look inside the unit to see if anything is in there that might be making the noise as well, best of luck, hope that helped
