Question about Computers & Internet
I have a fridgedaire CFEF372EC and the right front element (dual) won't come on. I was told that the problem was the surface element switch so I replaced it but that did solve the problem. I tested the element by putting an ohmmeter on the terminals to the element assembly under the cooktop and got resistance (80ohms), from what I've read this would indicate the element is ok...or is it? . I'm uncertain what to do next, could it be the logic board?
80 ohms sounds too high for me. 2.7 Amps at 220V. Check a new one. I would expect under 15 Ohms when at room temp for an element. Check a new element for the correct resistance.
