SOURCE: I have a Delta Rockwell Radial Arm saw model L-40C

Sorry I don't know the saw in question, but I would assume either the starter winding connections or the run winding connections have been reversed. Was the motor replaced or was the starting capacitor serviced recently?

Thanks!

SOURCE: planer problems

If you're looking at the planer from the infeed side, there's a belt guard on the right side of the head. Remove it and check the condition of the drive belt. If it's broke the motor will spin without powering the cutterhead and feed rollers. The drive belt is still available as part number 22-563 on sites like http://servicenet.dewalt.com/ and www.ereplacementparts.com. Just put your model number in their search box and find the drive belt in the breakdown.

I have a Delta 17-950L drill press. The table is perfectly level according to my level. In checking I find out that the chuck is not coming down completely vertical. An eighth of an inch in a four inch...

You don't want the table to be perfectly level, it does need to be perfectly perpendicular to the quill. If the motor housing or quill is not be perfectly straight up and down, as appears to be the case with your drill you will need to square the table to the quill, both left to right and front to back.

Can you tell me what is causing my delta mitre saw motor to run but the blade does not spin powerful enough to cut moulding?

Maybe the bolt which holds the blade on is loose. If the motor is on the RIGHT side of the blade, then the bolt has 'left-hand' thread. Turn it counter-clockwise to tighten.

Delta bs100 runs backwards

It's wired wrong. You'll have to change the wiring at the motor to correct this.
If it's a new saw, I'd exchange it for one that was put together right.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

Delta Drill Press motor stopped running

I tried the model number listed and didn't find just a capacitor, but I would think that you would be able to find it at a local electrical supply house, one that specializes in service to the contractor, take that one with you and they should be able to match it up. If not give me the exact model number and I will try and find one online for you

Can I mount a Delta 36-T30 T2 30-Inch Fence and Rail System on my

I just installed a Delta T2 fence on my 10" Craftsman Table Saw. It's 27" deep. The bushing either could be relocated or you could use spacers on the front, back, or both on the saw to get the required distance. Also, you'll have to drill new holes, however, I used one of the existing holes in the front and back of my saw as well.

How fix Delta/Rockwell 15 drill press from chuck wobbling. I purchased a Delta / Rockwell 15 drill press model 15-091. The chuck wobbles. I ordered some wedges to remove chuck.jacobs #6 wedges After soaking in pb blaster I removed chuck with ease with the wedges. must have Now after looking at what is called the spindle I believe...it is wobbling. I wonder if I am looking at an arbor or the spindle? Above this piece is a threaded section that is about 1/2. I thought of maybe getting a jacobs 34-33c chuck to screw onto this. Seems like if the spindle/arbor is wobbling it still would not run straight or be difficult to properly seat it. I do know that some quills come with a slot to fit a wedge for removing the arbor. Mine does not have this. Without a proper way to remove an arbor it leads me to believe maybe it doesn't have an arbor. Seems that I am looking at the actual spindle. I need this drill press for precision work. If you know about this model.. Please Help !!!!! I am stuck. Do I need to buy a whole spindle? If it is in fact an arbor how are you supposed to remove it? I thought if it is an arbor I could take a grinder and cut 2 slots in the arbor. Then take a really thick washer and cut out a section. to make it a u shape then slide the washer into the grooves I cut out. Then use the wedges on top of that. After tapping the wedges I would think it would come free. Unless it is one solid rod with a taper at the end like an arbor usually has AKA the spindle....HELP!!!! I can't find ANY info on this anywhere. I know someone must have worked on these before.
