Question about Techni-Brew International Home
At first I could get a cup of coffee with 3 pumps now it takes at least 6 pumps
Your pump bellows is probably filling up with a slimy black mildew like growth. why they don't offer a replacement for this inexpensive part I don't know since this is a comoon problem with all hot pot pumps. You can disassemble it however and clean the bellow with an old toothbrush and alcohol rinse. Just make sure you press the bellow back to origional shape before reinstalling. Tools needed are a very small screwdriver or thin bladed butter knife. Slightly pry away next to the tabs (the tabs are a molded part of the outer collar) and lift the insert at this area. After all tabs are released compress the two thumb fixtures and life out. Pull bellows lightly from each end where it is attached to the molded plastic parts and remove the spring by unsrewing in order to clean. Tom S.
