If you are looking for a special relay, actually most of them will do providing they fit and are of the same configuration. Just about all relays can be jumper-ed if you are in dire need.

Where is the location of fuel pamp electric fuses

If Its under the hood
  • Raise the hood of your car and look near the battery for a black, plastic box. Unsnap the lid and raise the cover. On the inside of the lid there should be a schematic of the fuse orientation, and inside this box there should be an array of circuit breakers, fuses and relays arranged according to the schematic. One of the small, black relays is likely to control the fuel pump. Near the relay there is also typically a red, 10-amp fuse labeled "FUEL," "F/P" or "FUEL PUMP." If not, check under the dashboard.
If its under the Dashboard
  • Use a flashlight to look under the dashboard. In most cases, there should be a lower cover to access the fuse panel. Remove the cover with a small screwdriver and pull the lid off of the fuse panel. On the inside of the lid there should be a label that identifies the fuse arrangement, similar to the label on the power center under the hood. Look for the same lettering that designates the fuel pump fuse. If the fuse is not there, look in the specialty fuse panels.

How do you replace the fuel pump in a 1991 lexus 4x4 LX 470?

Two fuel pumps are in the fuel tank. The tanks dipps down on both sides of the drive shaft. the drive shapt has to be removed to get the tank out and it's best to remove all the gas from the tank before removeing the tank .. this work is very dangerouse and is best left to a professional madechaanic.

I have a 2000 Lexus LX470 that is heating up. After having replaced and or serviced the entire cooling system I have concluded that the cooling fans are not staying on or coming on long enough to bring the...

the fan relays are inside the main engine compartment junction box. and the fan "switch" is a function the the engine computer. it looks at engine speed vehicle speed and coolant temperature to decide whether to turn the fans on or not. I doubt its the ecu, most likely the fan relays.just pull them out and put new ones in.

Lexus lx470 1999 Starter

Look at the "rear" of the engine where it joins the transmission. Follow the positive cable from the battery to it. Cog with the 'teeth' you see engages the flywheel to start the motor.
