Computer not always showing up on monitor after reboot. It only works after I turn pc off by button and psu off and on but only randomly. I am not sure if it is the mobo or psu or gpu - a gtx 960.

It might just be worth double checking that its not in fact your monitor at fault.
you said the the monitor isn't always displaying the picture, but you can hear that the computer is on?
You also say you are turning your computer off and on to cure the problem, which of course also power cycles your monitor.

When it happens again, power cycle your monitor by turning it off and on to see if the image reappears?

My EasyCap DC60 shows the greean light when I put it in the computer but it doesn't show the video and because it doesn't show the video I think the audio doesn't work. Please help.

You need to reset the BIOS of the Motherboard.
For easy repair, just remove the battery ( looks like a button ) on the motherboard, wait for 1- 2 minutes, then place it back again, that way should fix the problems

When I turn on my 2 terabyte LaCie DD3US external hard drive, disk appears to rotate but I get a red light along with the blue, and clicking noises, and the drive's icon doesn't show on my iMac...

If the device doesn't show up in Mac System Profiler at all or as an unknown device:
The symptoms indicate there is a problem with the drive, how it is connected, or with the computer used for troubleshooting. The next best step is to change physical variables, and find a simpler problem than a broken product.
  • Change the data cable (USB, FireWire, Ethernet, etc.) A failure in the cable can cause this issue.
  • Change the external power supply or cable. If possible, obtain another power cabling to see if the problem is in that component. On drives that are powered via USB or Firewire, try using the included power sharing cable and connect it to another port.
  • Change the computer you are using. Computer problems can manifest themselves in many ways. Even if the computer appears to be working properly, this is a worthwhile test. Try it on a friend's computer and see if it works fine.
If the tests above don't help, it's possible that the drive was either dropped while running, had a hard drive 'head crash' or the circuitry inside the drive is fried.
Hope this helps!

When i get photos it shows in review but once the camera is switched off and restarted , no images is the message. secondly when i try to see images on PC through a card reader, it shows empty folder but...

To keep the photos on your computer after you turn off your computer, make sure that you copy the photos by selecting them and hitting (Ctrl + C) , create a new folder on your computer for them , open the folder and push (Ctrl + p) to paste them there, so that you can view them on your computer instead of off of the camera. I hope this helps!

Hp laptop doesnt boot it is always black and nothing shows up

Its probably caused by the RAM, have it checked. If you can do it yourself, remove the panel cover underneath the laptop and clean the RAM as shown in the image below:
(The actual RAM in your laptop is shorter than the RAM on the image.)

Install it back to the computer and turn it on. If problems persist try another RAM, it may already need replacement.

Please reply if this has helped you. Thanks.

P4vmm2 doesnt boot,Y?

Hi yansky, When you turn the computer on do you see or hear any of the following: -Does the power LED turn on and if so for how long? -When you turn you power on listen closely for any sounds like hard drives or fans starting up. -Does anything show on your monitor, if yes what exactly? -When turned on do you hear any beeping sounds from the computer? If you do listen for the pattern of long and short beeps and let us know what they are. If you see absolutely nothing you should try testing the socket the computer is plugged into. Fuses blow, power strips die cords develop shorts so unplug the computer and plug in a lamp to verify you?re getting power. If that doesn?t turn up anything let us know the answers to the questions above plus any other observations and we?ll try to help.
