Plug in a working external monitor to the video output of the all in one. If that works then the internal monitor is ng. If the plugged in monitor also does not work then the video circuits are shot. Too expensive to replace the internal mo bo - you get ripped off on mo part cost and labor. Replace unless under warranty.

Long beep continuous

Hello,
here is a list of beep code for Award bios chip, which is the one present on you memory card:

repeated beeps - DRAM error
repeated short beeps - Power error
Repeated high & low beeps - Processor is damaged/Overheated

1 short - System boot successfull
2 short - CMOS setting error
1 long 1 short - DRAM or M/B error
1 long 2 short - Monitor or display card error
1 long 3 short - Keyboard error
1 long 9 short - BIOS ROM error

I don't remember the speed of the repeted beeps for the award bios.
But in your case if this is not a DRAM issue, you might try to check if the beeping remain the same once the cmos battery removed (the flat batterie that looks taken out of a watch).
If so this means that it needs to be replaced.

I would start with the video card and pull

have a bad card or bad cable or the

Mother board connected to power supply peep suond coming no display(monitor) note from smps powercord 24 pin when remove four pin Beep sound not coming

The pattern of beeps is significant. Do you have the MB manual (or download one). Find the section about the POST (Power On Self Test), it will describe the different beep patterns which represent the various errors that can occur before the display comes on.

No beep, no display, cant find the problem... help!!

I am thinking it's either a bad board or it's the power supply. I would try to hook it up on someone elses monitor in order to check and make sure it's not yours. If it doesn't work then I would go get the board tested by a pc tech or buy another.

My ECS 915 G-A elite group motherboard doesnot display anymore on the monitor..

have you tried to isolate what the cause of the problem? first check the video card if is properly inserted into the slot, and check the memory, and cable from CPU to monitor if it is connected properly. then boot your system. And try to observe this beep error code this might help you locate where the problem is.

short beep System is OK
2 short beeps POST Error - error code shown on screen No beep Power supply or system board problem Continuous beep Power supply, system board, or keyboard problem Repeating short beeps Power supply or system board problem
1 long, 1 short beep System board problem

1 long, 3 short beeps Display adapter problem (EGA)
3 long beeps 3270 keyboard card

thnk you.

remove the memory and gently clean it very well and then connect it back to motherboard. if got long beep then memory damage.(replace memory) if got tree short beeps, clean the video card and connect it after cleaning if got same beeps ( then replace video card) thats only only things. Good luck.
