I would try running chkdsk/f and if that is unsuccessful, download a registry cleaner.

Bells ding after starting car. Stops dinging when headlights turned on. one headlight burned out. Car's way of saying bad light?

You could say that. A bad/burned out bulb means a broken circuit in the system. Replace the bulb and see that the dinging stops. But then, if the lights aren't on upon start-up, the computer wouldn't know of this incomplete circuit when the lights are off. Must be something else causing the "dinging". Computer systems are strange.

It says usable memory exceeds please remove a few files.i dont even know how to get started.and the laptop says something about drivers please help

It wants you to delete some programs, files or other information on your unit because there's too little space left on the machine to function properly. Since you don's say what device you are working with it's very hard to tell you what steps to take. If you are not at all familiar with your device's maintenance routine you should take it to someone who is proficient in cleaning it up properly.

U2105 lost communication with ecm car wont start. could there be anything causing this other than ecm

If you are getting the fault code saying that it lost communication with the ECM there could be something faulty going on with your ECU. This usually will not cause the car to not start, and will make your engine run strange or cut off while running. There can most definitely be something wrong with another component in the vehicle that would cause it to not start properly.

The computer says the immobilizer coil is open/short

Did you reset the computer. Usually disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes should do it. If this does not fix it, you need to recheck your work. Something you did has caused the message. Did you short circut a wire, burn a fuse, forget to reconnect something? The immobilizer probably works by immobilization of the vehicle's coil circut. Thus, causing the computer message to display about the coil issue. Try reset computer of vehicle should work.

Setup is starting services it say start up will resume when restarted then it restarts then says the same thing over again

My computer did that once, just before it crashed. I had to go into the boot menu and choose a different start boot. (Ctrl-Alt-F10 I believe that's the boot menu access. It's been a while, but it was either F10 or F12) This will cause your computer to reset the boot app and start from scratch. You will lose all your data, but it may be the only way to get the computer to work properly.

Enteri am having a big problem with my acer 5315 laptop it keeps coming up with a blank black screen and at the start screen after logo it says windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software change...

I might advise you reformat the operating system of the computer, or check the peripheral devices for this computer if properly connected? You got a fatal error it means that there is something that is not reading by the memory of the computer.

Computer won't start

There is a fairly lengthy process involved provided by microsoft to get it up and running again ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545 ) however I would think it may be easier to just put in the Windows XP disc and re-install.

The error is usually related to the computers registry. New software installations could cause this to fail, malicous website could cause problems also, even turning off the computer without allowing it to properly shut down could cause this.

Acer Aspire M1610 Drive Problem

Hi Ginnegirl,

Have you tried inserting other disk in your computer? Try to assess if it's the disk that is not working properly. You may need to try a few CD (i.e. for audio, video, applications). If this does not work and granting that your Acer Aspire is new, it may be caused by a factory defect. The lens might not be working properly.

Dimension c521 computer gives a post error, floppy drive 0 error and keyboard error

Hi,
The compute post tests the computer, insuring that it meets the necessary system requirements and that all hardware working properly before starting the remainder of the boot process.
1 Short Beep, Normal POST, computer is okay. No problem. 2 Short Beep, POST error....floppy drive 0 error and keyboard error........This can happen because there is something wrong with your floppy drive, something is causing your computer not to detect it or that you simply don't have one.
Check your floppy cables and connections first to ensure that they are connected properly, if they are then you may have a burned out controller on your motherboard, a bad floppy cable or drive, or your motherboard may be faulty. If you don't have one you can disable the message in your computers BIOS. To get to the BIOS screen, during boot up at the bottom of the screen it will say something like "press F2 for setup" or something along those lines. That will take you to the BIOS screen. In the settings there should be options like first boot device, second boot device, and so on... change the one that say 3.5 floppy to something else such as your CD rom. That will get rid of that message.
Keyboard error or no keyboard present shows up when your computer can't find your keyboard or there is something wrong with it. Replace with new keyboard. Thank you
