Try changing the emitter resistors near the parts you've replaced. Also when you change out transistors it's a good idea to change them ALL out..The "supposedly good" ones may be badly stressed.
If the output line to the spkr relay has more than a volt on it the amp will stay in Protect

My breaker is showing 117 volts coming out of it but my light switch has only 3volts ???

You're not reading the light switch correctly, Charles. You may have your meter set to DCV instead of ACV, or you might be reading from hot to some ungrounded, non-neutral wire, or you may be reading through some high-resistance or solid-state load.

117VAC is perfectly satisfactory. Nominal is 120V, but anything from about 110 to about 130 is fine.

Hi!
did you check the +5 volts if exactly? and the +9voltsif exactly? now if you got over voltages in the said voltages you got abnormal power oscillation! or did you check the regulator? maybe the ADJUST Pin is in abnormal function! and try to unload the power board then you can test run the power board by checking the voltages in secondary.

I have the RJTECH 4200 Karaoke Machine. Worked fine for over a year and recentlt loaded a CD and the power shut off. Tried everything, can't get it to turn on. Need help on getting repaired. p.

A repair if total dead is possible. Follow the money or the voltage in this case from cord to switch and from there to power supply--should be AC or wall voltage up to the power supply and then get rectified (changed) from AC to DC.

If no AC voltage past the switch--test it with a ohm meter--off no reading, on a reading etc.

2547 channel led is dim

This is a common problem with a lot of Galaxy, Cobra and similar radios. It usually occurs from one of two things the radio has been operated on a higher voltage than it was designed for ( Called Volting) and has damaged the LEDS or it can occur from poor connections to the display board either the 8 Volt line or the Grounds check for the proper voltage at the display. Note if you ground your meter somewhere besides the display ground you may get a correct voltage reading but still not have the correct voltage reaching the display so be sure to ground your meter at the display and read the voltage there as well.

Not able to switch on the mothere board. Green led on the board glows but the system is not powering on.

1. Check the mother board user manual 1st. To see how to properly install this mother boar to your PC cabinet or tower.
2. Check to see if you have the power from the power supply correctly connected
3. You may not have the proper watts or power from the power supply to power said mother board.
4. check the mother board battery it may not have proper voltage it should be 3.9 volts or more with a voltage meter check.
usually a 2025 button battery on the board

ADCOM GFA 5802 POWER AMP NO SOUND, BUT POWERS UP.

Remove the output transistors and measure each of the sets of 3 pads and report the voltage readings here. I suspect that you have either a blown driver circuit or output transistors. The voltage readings will give me an idea on where to start looking for specifics.

Thanks,
Dan

D845epi mobo has flashing green light after power supply replacement

Unplug the power then unplug the 24 pin power connection from the mother board and take paper clip bend it so you can insert it into the holes where the green and the black wire are next to each other, Next you will need a multi meter. Set the multi meter to read dc volts 20 take the red lead and put it into the purple wire hole of the 24 pin connection and the black lead in to the hole with the Black wire on the 24 pin connection. the reading on the Multi meter should read 5.0 volts if it does not and you get a reading of 6.01 or higher then the Mother board has been burnt out and you will need to replace the motherboard and power supply I have been a onsite tech for E-machine for the last 5 years and this has been an ongoing problem with the power supply.

Bubulica2000,

There is two reasons to have no display on your screen.
1.LCD panel itself is deffective.
2.Main board(mother board is Deffective)

How to recoganize the problem?

There is 5VDC going from main board to LCD invertor ( different model different pin so I am not able to tell which pin or Jack is)
Check while unit is ON mode it should read in between 3VDC to 5 VDC.If this volt is correct your LCD panel is Deffective. If no voltage appear in this pin Simply change Main board(mother board)

Dont forget to rate!!

GoodLuck

Emachines t3882 wont power on

The yellow wire carry 12 volt while the red one is 5 volt. But to check the voltage you have to unplugged all the four wires connectors (yelow, black, black red) and measure them one by one. If you say that they don't have any voltage on them then you have a faulty power supply. Replace it to solve the problem.
But if during unplugged your have the correct voltage read then it could be one of your device faulty. Normally your CD-ROM drive or floppy drive or HDD.
