Question about Panasonic RQ-2105A vintage cassette player & recorder Auto Stop TESTED
The unit plays cassettes, rewinds and fast forwards, (although it DOES occasionally jam up) but when I playback after recording, I hear 'pop' sounds, but nothing that I recorded. The problem is not with the cassette, I've tried multiple, and they are all recordable cassettes (or I have the indent taped over). There's no corrosion visible when I cracked open the unit, I tried cleaning the heads, but still only popping sounds. Thanks.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Help it's going to fast
Your camera has a capstan servo problem which is more than likely being caused by the capstan motor itself.Nothing you can do youself, would suggest bring to service but reccomend getting estimate before repairing.
