Question about RCA D44LPW134 44" HDTV
RCA D44LPW134 This T.V. has a faint buzzing sound coming from the bulb fan area. I used a stethescope to narrow the buzzing down to the bulb area. I thought it was the cooling fan so I replaced it. I still have the noise. If I grab ahold of the case that the bulb and fan are attached to I can get the noise to almost go away. Is the something that commonly happens that may need tightened? Any suggestions? Thanks
Be quite sure that it is not the fan physically touching the case; other than that, scope your B+ voltage to the ballast and be certain it is clean; while it could be that or the lamp itself, it is most probably loose or misaligned case assembley
