Hi, I'm on Verizon high speed internet. Just upgraded from DSL. My Mac computer connects easily using it's built-in Airport wireless. My wife's PC worked fine with an ethernet connection. In our new apartment that's not practical. So I bought a Netgear 802.11g adapter for her. But it requires a WEP code to work. I no longer have the manual (or CD, if there was one) for the Westell model 327w (router/modem?), and I don't know how to access the information I had written inside. How do I find that info? Or if I reset the unit, will I need a CD to re-configure it? Or will we both then just automatically be able to get online? What should I do?
Type 192.168.1.1 into your web browser address bar, which will allow you to access the routers settings(do this from a computer that is connected to the router, of course). Once inside, use the default user name 'admin' and the password 'password' to conduct any changes you would like to make. If you need to reset the router becuase you've changed the password and have now forgotten, look for a small hole somewhere at the back of the router, and push a pin in (carefully) until you feel you've pressed a small button. That should bring your router back to factory settings.

I am running Vista and using Media Center. After 2 months the AVerMedia M791 PCIe Combo has stopped working, Media Center says no antenna input. I have verified the antenna works by installing a Hauppauge USB TV Tuner pn the PC. Have tried reinstalling drivers and hardware and still nothing. Any other recommendations besides replacing the tuner card?

Sony Vaio PCV-RS720G not recognizing new Seagate Hard Drive. When I first installed the drive with XP OS running, the pc recognized and formated the drive. Since then the original drive that I was going to replace died completely. Now the bios is not recognizing the new hard drive. I have a new OS, XP Pro to install. I can't find the update for the bios anywhere. It's a Asus board installed in a Sony PC with AMI bios. Nice huh?
