Bottom blade should be flush with the stitch plate. The top blade should pass below the stitch plate at the bottom end of the stroke.

Help plse, after threading it dont make the overlocking stitches. New machine, help with right way to thread machine and the smaller detail of threading.

Your machine is either not threaded correctly, or the individual threads have not been threaded in order. Be sure to ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the machine. You must follow the instructions exactly or the machine will most likely never work properly. Can you at least get a training class on your machine? A class is indispensable, especially when it comes to using a serger.

Even if it is not the same model, these instructions may be helpful.

I know how to open and get into my Designer Se and found the blade in part broken and not able to see hoe to reinstall the new one I have

Am guessing this is a serger. There are usually two blades in a serger (overlocker). Usually one blade can be changed by the home user, the other blade sometimes requires a technician.

Consult your owner's manual. It may have specific instructions about replacing the blades.

Could you send a picture of what the blade and hook look like when they are put back correctly I think this would help. I think I may have put it back together incorrectly

The Baby Lock Imagine overlocker/serger is so easy to use and set up, you'll love it! The blade should be flush with the sewing bed when installed correctly. I'm not sure which part is being referred by "the hook", can you elaborate ... is it the loopers?? Here is the address for the manual http://pdfretriever.com/ref_sien.php?ID=2411572&lg=E&src=8

Where do I put the oil in my overlocker?

You don't specify the make/model - it is always best to obtain a manual for you rmachine to ensure that you are oiling in the necessary spots to ensure longevity.

Generally though, you would open up the front flap/s of your overlocker and brush out around the lower loopers and blades to remove all the lint build up before starting a new project. Then add a drop of oil to any of the metal on metal moving parts in this area. The blades also benefit from a small drop of oil.

Try sewusa.com for sewing machine and overlocker manuals.

I accidentally sewed over a pin and now the moving

Disengage and then engage the blade to see if this will reset the position of the blade.

You could replace the blade - this should be in the manual or you may need to take the machine in for service as replacing the blade may or may not be all that needs to be done.

Bernina overlocker 203 locking thread is not sewing on fabric

You need to adjust the tension for your threads. Use scraps to test sew as you adjust the individual threads to bring them into proper balance. Your manual will tell you how to do this.
