Like any weight reduction program, the best exercise starts in the kitchen. It's a push-away - from the fridge, the freezer, the cookies on the counter, etc. We can eat anything, just in moderation. For augmenting with exercise, it has been shown more and more that resistance exercise (dumbbell and resistance bands) when used to a point of 'burn' will cause muscle growth. That larger muscle will continue to burn calories even when not being exercised. Yes, even while we sleep. Lots of videos on YouTube for resistance training. Just go easy for starters. Expect results in about 2-3 months. Then keep on going! I'm down 30 pounds in 5 months, 2 waist sizes and getting comments. :)

The best way to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks require a combination of the right exercise and a healthy diet. How do I lose 10lbs?


Walking will help but the biggest thing is drinking water and eating natural foods in correct portions. It's not easy and you need discipline to keep it up but you will feel better. I like the Spartacus DVD's in addition to walking. I personally lost 14 lbs in about 3 months but I struggle with the discipline portion which I am working hard to overcome. We are our own worst enemy when it comes to weight loss.
