Check the schematic of machine. The heater element is not getting power. Check for some sort of switch that is between the power line going into machine and the input to the element.

Dryer is a simple machine. Could be the contact on the on switch for the unit that is no longer making proper contact.

Dbsr463eg7ww no heat

First check to see that the exhaust venting line is clear (not full of lint) as well as the path in the dryer to the line. This is the most common cause of no heat.
Second set the knob to heat turn on dryer with the lights off and the door open but the "open door" switch so that it still rotates with the door open. Look at the back of the rotating drum for a orange/red glow behind the drum (the heater coils). If there is no glow the heater coils are probably broken.
As the dryers age, the amount of thermal cycles the heater elements go through until the point when the coil wire breaks. There usually two heater coils behind the rotating drum (one hotter than the other and when combined the hottest heat temperature setting. You will need to pop open the top where you see the belt that turns the drum. The belt is removed from the spring loaded tensioner pulley at the base of the dryer. Then you can lift the drum out to get to the heater coils. Since no heat, both should be broken and will require replacement.

Dryer wont heat where is the fuse? speed queen

I do not believe it is a fuse, the dryer has a heater coil very much like a space heater contained in an air box inside of the dryer. If this heater coil breaks or burns into, then no heat. My 30 year old dryer has had two That I had to replace over the years. in order to get to this coil, youhave to take the back off.

Dryer "poping" and blowing breaker

Any wires in the upper portion of your dryer would not be to blame, and the heater coils are usually encased in ceramic loops. so they shouldn't cause a problem. On occasion the wires in a dryer could be touching somewhere that is hot melting the insulation off the wire, this sounds like it could be your problem. Check all the wires in the heated areas around your drum and lint catcher. If you find charred wires repair them and tape with electrical tape and then tape over that with automotive heat tape.

Changing heating element

No need to buy the whole pan. The replacement coil is way less. 5300622032
Very easy dryer to repair. Start by popping the top and then removing the front. Get te drum out and remove the heater assembly. Remove the old coil. NOTE: when replacing the new coil be vewy vewy careful not to stretch the coil too much as this causes a hot spot and shortens the life of the coil considerably as in like one load maybe. LOL.

GE Dryer Mod DDE8040l heater coils

Check your voltage to the dryer, make sure you have the required 220 volts. If you are only getting 110 volts the dryer would run but not heat. So check the breaker or fuse box first,, then check the plug for proper voltage, then the terminal block to make sure you do not have a wired burned off.. after that it would most likely a high limit thermostat. Good luck. I hope this will fixYa. and dont forget to rate me. Thanks

Hi, My Indesit WIDL 102 is faulty. It washes OK, But does not dry at all. I dont think it heats up during the drying time, but the drum does turn round. Is there a thermal reset switch on the inside...

I don't know your dryer model, but I assume it is electric. Electric dryers have a heater coil like a toaster which eventually wears out and doesn't get hot anymore. This is typical and is likely the case especially if your dryer is old or has been used alot. Has the dryer been taking longer and longer to dry before it lost all heat? If so, I bet it is the heater coil.
