Question about Watches
I am stuck in the diagnostic menu with the following list: version, contrast, pressure, display, buzzer, backlight, eeprom, magfield, compass. All I did was change the battery and it brought me to this menu. How do I get out of it to the normal functions/time mode?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You wouldnt think a whole lot could go wrong with a Suunto battery change. If they had trouble getting the coin access back off and unscrewed the case then the button contacts might be out of line causing your problem. You might also check to be sure that they put the right battery in and that there are no pry marks as sometimes there are problems getting the battery out. If any excessive pressure was placed on the circuit board and it cracked it will need to be replaced.

mcdevito75 here, With the tools and time needed, best bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area to change the battery.

SOURCE: I replaced the battery as
Tough one but here goes.
1 New battery does not necessarily mean good battery
2 Determine the battery is inserted with the correct side up.
3 Is there a reset. Possibly a small hole that you poke a paper clip into.
4 Try holding all the buttons in at the same time for a couple seconds
5 Go see a watchmaker,

SOURCE: I have a Suunto Core
Not sure if this is your exact model; if not try searching for other Core models in the top right search field:
Your User Manual is here:
If the button lock is activated there will be a lock displayed at the 12 o'clock position.
You can activate and deactivate the button lock by keeping the backlight button pressed down. When the button lock is activated, it is indicated with a lock symbol .

SOURCE: I received my suunto t3d
To reset contrast on the sunnuto t3d hold down all 4 corner buttons at once, this will place the watch in sleep mode. Wait a few seconds and press any button to wake the watch back up. This will allow you to run through the inital set up just like when you got your watch, alot of your info will be saved so you can just quickly confirm them with the mode button. I also set my contrast too high, I have reset it to 3 and found it much easier to read in all lighting.
