SOURCE: I was using Incredimail and I am now using Outlook

1st of all congratulations on not using incredimail anymore. thats a horrible advertising program.

If you are missing some features, try upgrading further and use Microsoft Outlook 2007. It has alot more features than O.E. and incredimail

SOURCE: i use incredimail and hotmail. my isp is virgin.

I would suspect that your virgin emails are set to forward to your hotmail account. If virgin offers webmail for your account, login to it and check your settings. It could be that at some point you setup forwarding and forgot about it. Or you could contact your isp and ask if there is a forward setting on your account and ask them to remove it.

How do you empty the sentbox in incredimail?

?

A: The 'Deleted Items' folder contains the email messages deleted from your other folders. It is recommended that you empty the 'Deleted Items'folder from time to time, to avoid the build up of old and unnecessary email, which may slow down your email environment.

To empty the 'Deleted Items' folder, simply right-click the folder and select 'Empty 'Deleted Items' Folder'. If the 'Deleted Items' folder is not emptied, please follow these steps:
  1. Right-click the IncrediMail Tray Icon (orange envelope), located in the lower right corner (near the computer clock), and select 'Exit'.
  2. Windows 2000 or XP users: Browse to the following location:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Your Profile(Logon Name)\Local Settings\Application Data\IM\Identities\{Long Number}\Message Store

Windows 98 or ME users: Browse to the following location:

    C:\Windows\Application Data\IM\Identities\{Long Number}\Message Store
  3. Delete the 'Deleted Items.imm' and the 'Deleted Items.imh' files.
  4. Open IncrediMail. Next time you wish to empty your 'Deleted Items' folder, simply right-click the folder and select 'Empty 'Deleted Items' folder'.

Also you can try to follow these steps:
1.Click on Start and then Control Panel. 2.Click on the Programs link.

Note: If you're viewing the Small icons or Large icons view of Control Panel, you won't see this link. Click on the Default Programs icon and then click on the Associate a file type or protocol with a program link. Then proceed to Step 4.
    3. Click on the Make a file type always open in a specific program link under the Default Programs heading
    4. In the Set Associations window, scroll down the list until you see the file extension that you want to change the default program for.
    5. Click on the file extension to highlight it, once you've found the one you're looking for.
    6. Click the Change program... button above the scroll bar.

The Open With dialog box should appear.
    7. Look through the options in the Recommended Programs area and choose the application that you want to open the file extension with when you double-click on the particular kind of file on your computer.

Note: Chances are, the applications listed under Recommended Programs will contain the most applicable programs for this file type but be sure to look at the applications under Other Programs. You may need to click the v to expand the list of these programs.

Note: Click Browse... to search through your computer for any program not listed that you'd like to use.
    8. Click the OK button on the Open With window. Windows 7 will refresh the list of file associations to show the new default program to open this type of file.

    9. Click the Close button at the bottom of the Set Associations window. You may also close the Control Panel window if it's still open.

    10. From this point forward, when you double-click on any file with this particular file extension, the program you associated it with in Step 7 will launch and load the particular file.

Important: Whatever program used to automatically open when these types of files were launched will still open these types of files. To use another program, you'll just need to start the program manually and then browse your computer for the particular file.

I have problem in windows word. my system says that you have aproblem in comand promt

Try the following:

Method 1: Change File Type Association Directly from the File Properties

1.Right click on a file with the type or extension that want to change its associated application program.
2.Select Properties on right click context menu.
3.In the General tab, click on Change button.
4.An Open With window will appear. Choose a program to open the kind of file from the list of programs available. By default, Recommended Programs is automatically expanded. However, there is more detected programs in the section of Other Programs, which can be expanded to select by clicking on Down Arrow at the end of the separator line.
If the program that want to used as the default program does not found, click Browse to select an executable file manually.
5.Click OK button.

Method 2: Change File Type Association Directly On The Fly

Note that this method works if only several programs have been used to open and run a kind of file type extension previously.

When I Try To Open Email Link It say file Does Not Have Association Programme

It appears that you are trying to open a document that is linked (attached) to an email and the file is not assiciated with an application in Windows. The file's extention (.DOC, .PDF, .TXT, etc.) will tell you for the most part what application you need installed on your computer to get the file to open. If you post that file extension, we may be able to steer you more. So - you need to be sure the appication is installed. Also - if you "know" that the application that should be opening your file "is" installed, then you may just need to make the "association" from My Computer by using... Tools > Folder Options and the File Types tab to coreect the issue.
