You are looking for one of my favorite keys...the "fn" (or function) key. Juust left of the windows key (under your left palm) is the fn key. Pressing this key at the same time as a key with the F3 key will toggle your bluetooth on and off. In fact, the fn key will toggle several keys if they have a blue icon printed under the main number.

You need to press the fn key (usually located under your left palm by the windows key) and the bluetooth key at the same time in order to toggle the bluetooth off and on.

For PSP Go owners, a very cool feature is the ability to pair bluetooth devices with the system. This recipe will show you how to toggle between outputting audio between the PSP Go’s speakers/headphone jack and a bluetooth headset/speaker.
1. Pair your bluetooth device with your PSP Go.
-Go to Settings > Bluetooth Device Settings
-Be sure to turn the Bluetooth Connection ON. Then select Manage Bluetooth Devices.
-Click on Register New Devices; put your headset into pairing mode and pair it with the PSP Go by following the onscreen prompts.
2. Once your headset/device is paired. Be sure to leave the Bluetooth Connection on.
3. Finally, open up the music player or a game and when you want to switch between the PSP Go’s speaker or your headset, just hold the Audio button on top for about 7 seconds. It will change the volume icon w/a bluetooth icon and audio on your PSP Go should start outputting via your headset.
To toggle back to speakers/headphones, again hold the audio button for about 7 seconds and it will switch back.
This should work with any bluetooth headset and does not require it being a stereo headset (ie any $5 headset should work).

Which model laptop is this? Many of the Gateway laptops have 2 switches for the Bluetooth. There is a physical switch on the front or side of the system that needs to be turned on for both the wireless LAN and the Bluetooth to work.
The physical switch needs to be in the ON position, then you can use the FN-F6 to toggle the bluetooth specifically on and off. Depending on the model there will be another toggle, possible FN-F2 to toggle the wireless Lan on and off once the switch is turned on.

Most of the Acer Models do not have Inbuilt Bluetooth. Usually i would say, use Bluetooth Toggle, rather than Purchasing a kit. A Bluetooth toggle is just like a Pen Drive.You need to install the CD and load the software. Once Loaded, insert the Toggle in the USB of the Computer and synchronize it with other device.

You need two things. A bluetooth toggle and a software to interact with that toggle. I would recomend blue Soleil.

to retrieve your numbers you would need to follow these key strokes...

center, toggle down (1 time), center, toggle up (2 times), center, toggle down (5 times), center, toggle down (5 times), center (3 times)

then wait for quite some time...it takes a while to copy all of the contacts...I would say anywhere from 5 to 10 mins...

this should work to save your contacts.

To save your pictures (and any other data you might want to retrieve) you could buy Sony's data cable for the z525a. I haven't tried this but it should work since that is what the cable is for.

Its called a DCU-60 USB data cable, and is listed as being compatible with the z525a.


to turn on the bluetooth: center, toggle down (2 times), toggle left (1 time), center, toggle left (4 times), center (2 times). then the return button 3 times to go back to the "main screen". hope this helps
