Question about Acer Aspire Computers & Internet
If it is a laptop purchase some canned air and with the laptop off shoot the air backwards through the exhaust vent in you laptop, (where the hot air comes out), if anything is stuck in there it should bee dislodged and come out the underside of your laptop where it probably got sucked in. wait a few mins as compressed air is cold and might cause condensation on the metal parts in your lap top and need a bit to dissapate. After you turn your laptop back on see if the noise is still there. Did you see anything come out the other side of your cooling system? If not and the sound is still there you should take it to a qualified shop where they can open it up and see if you have a major obstruction or a fan going out. It's better to have it checked properly than lose your laptop over a 19 to 39 dollar part. If the sound is gone and nothing came out repeat the air treatment till you can see and remove what ever was blocking the air flow and causing the sound. Again you might have to take it to the shop to have them open it up or use a proper tool to get to the culprit but if you are like me you would rather keep the laptop and spend a few buck than take the chance of a total loss.
