My computer won't recognize my logitech USB headset

I have a logitech USB Premium headset 350 and my computer won't recognize it except every once in a while. My computer finally recognized it one time when I rebooted with it still plugged in but when I unplugged it again...it won't recognize it. I have tried all 6 of my USB ports...which work with my external drives.

Alex, the Logitech USB Premium Headset 350 didn't come with a cd with drivers....so I went to msconfig and all the services and startups were enabled. Thanks for trying. :-D

Okay, I've had the same problem with their keyboards and mice, first you uninstall and reinstall the driver, if that doesn't help go to start>run then open MSCONFIG. Then find the services and re-enable all of them, along with all the startup entries.

Today purchased a Logitech USB headset #350, and the only sound that I get is when I re-adjust the volume from the laptop control.....otherwise there is no audio. I also searched online to see if there was...

In xp go to control panel>sounds and audio devices>audio (tab) then change the default and check use only default or uncheck it and it should allow both to work, I'm unsure exactly how to do it on vista because i don't have a copy of vista to tinker with right now.

Logitech USB Gaming Headset only working out of one ear

I've had this happen twice with Logitech headsets and believe it has to do with the cheap/fine wire they use in the cables. I suspect that a good tug on the cable will snap the wire or some other internal connection.

Logitech premium usb headset 350 help me pretty please

If when you talk into your mic you hear yourself from speakers...open your volume control(windows) and check the box to mute mic. Not for sure this is a fix to your problem but from what you wrote is similar to problem seen with voice chat software.

Logitech usb headset A-0374A does not play

probably need to set the Logitech headset as your default device in Control Panel-Sound. XP or Vista updates may reset the audio-video default devices

USB Device Not Recognized...

Hi,
The main reason for getting this message is that the USB chip or part of the connection to the chip has failed. The best way to test to see if the product is defective is to try it on another computer.
This will tell you if the product or the computer port has failed.
