You could select the option start at last known configuration that worked this will tell you if and what file has been corrupted or missing then you will know if its a hardware issue
You might use the system restore to restore your system to an earlier time click start all programs
If it is a hardware issue the system restore might not work

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

First you'll need to acquire an external harddrive enclosure. IDE or SATA depends on your hard drive. Shut the computer down. Remove the hard drive from your computer and place same into the enclosure. You'll need to hook your enclosure with the hard drive hooked up in it to another computer and remove all your data. Place back the hard drive into your computer and now you can do a system restore or a full reformat and OS installation. Respond to me, if you need step by step instructions.

Make sure you have any and all Windows 7 updates from Microsoft, along with any updates for your DVD drive for use with Windows 7. Some components work fine using Vista SP2 drivers, but some will need an update to work with Windows 7.
This Microsoft site might help verify if your DVD drive is compatible with Windows 7:

SOURCE: I have a systemax desktop
In the beginning of powering on, there should be a screen that post you some F keys or even DEL key for you to go into setup. Press the correct key, then it should take you into the bios menu and then go into the boot priority, usually under advance if it doesn't have it's own tab.... then change the boot priority order to your HD, and not usb. Save and exit.
