Question about Sony Dvcam DSR-PD170 DV Digital Camcorder
Does anyone know when its time for a service or a drum change based on the hours meter?
Answering time on the internet varies from 500 - 1000 hours. According to this website the golden rule is 1000 hours.
I recently rang Sony uk who told me the time was 1400 hours because these cameras are "a real workhorse."
Personally, I'd say it came down to how the camera was kept, treated and used over its lifespan. Was it used in humid conditions? Or perhaps in the derset?
The better its owner, the better the camera most likely.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
