Have craftsman 1hp motor with two capacitors,

you posted this under dryer problems , but i give it a shot. Maby your compressor is out of oil or rings worn out and its to tight to turn under pressure. Or your not getting the voltage or amps you need. You cant run on a extension cord or at least a cheep cord. Your plug is or outlet is burnt not tranphering volts and amps.

Del e173fpc 17" power light comes on but screen black.

The issue you have is caused by a bad power supply. If you change the following capacitors on the power board you should be back running again. C925 and C924 are 470uf 16v and C922 and C923 are 1000uf 16v be sure to use high temp capacitors not just standard that you would find at Radio Shack, if you do they will blow again with in a month or two. We have a parts kit available and I will have picture posted on our web site at :

I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.

When i switch on my P.C. and my FP 5313 screen it flickers

This is a known problem with a series of components inside the monitor. There are about 11 capacitors that if replaced will allow the monitor to function properly.

The best place to go to

The list of the capacitors that are bad are below with possible replacements.

C922, C925: Hermei LE 1000uF 16V, low impedance, general purpose, replacing with 1000uF 16V Samxon GF.
C201: Hermei LZ 150uF 25V, ultra low impedance, high ripple current, replacing with 1000uF 25V Samxon GF.
C924, C926, C929, C930, C932, C933: Hermei LT 470uF 16V, high ripple current, low impedance, replacing with 1000uF 16V Samxon GF.
C207: Unknown CD110 50uF 4.7uF (general purpose), replacing with a 35V 4.7uF tantalum unit (SCP/Short Circuit Protection pin on TL1451 won't get anywhere near 35V).
C907: WC (with stylized Westinghouse W) SM 22uF 50V (general purpose), replacing with 63V 100uF Samxon GF (used for SMPS controller Vcc filtering).
C905: Hermei HT 100uF 400V, standard, general purpose, leaving as is - generally no problem.

Brief flickers on a Liquid Video L17LCD2 monitor

I did the same thing. I fried the smaller capacitor instantly so I reinstalled the old one & it works fine now. Any buldging capacitors are bad ones... Good Luck!

Acer al1711 monitor

I don't know if you ever got a response to this post since it isn't attached to the exchanges you had with someone before. Always retrieve your original otherwise the person who assisted you is unlikely to see your reply.
BTW, if you have done this by now, did it solve your problem? Often, the larger caps are not at fault but smaller ones that handle feedback in an inverter. The main filter caps are not subjected to the high frequencies and ripple currents that destroy the electrolyte in them.

No radio

Here is the solution for your problem.
You have to look at the 10volt B+ on the mainboard.
This voltage goes to the tuner en other ic's.
You have to replace the next capacitors:
C921 470/25v, C922 1000/35v, C920 1000/16v, C924 47/16 and
C927 100/16v.
The best to replace them witch 105 degrees capacitors, then the problem don't come back again.

Good luck

Hp L1702 Will not power on

I have a similar problem with the same monitor.  I think it is because I used to have it set up for 2 monitors.  Now every time I try to turn it on it goes to sleep right away but works fine on my other pc.
Unfortunately, I don't know the solution but I am also looking for a way to fix my problem...
