You can try to leave in unplugged from power for 10 mins, then try again. But in all likelihood something as cold soldered on the inside you can either try to get warranty (if applicable) or get a new one.

Do check the infrared emission from your LG remote control. Just to to this link, where you can see details about it. If infrared emission is there, and still TV does not accept it, the infrared sensor inside your TV is faulty and should be repaced. Ok

You will need to take it to a qualified tech to have it diagnosed. Without looking at the set, it sounds like a T-Con board issue
