Converting files to office 2003

They are Microsofts file converters for Office 2007 files so others can read them.

what you need to do is you go to 'save as' and change the 'save as type'  to 2003 doc. and not docx.

You can save the Office 2007 files in a format that is readable by previous versions of Office.

To save a file in compatibility format, follow the following steps:

1. Click on the Office Button (Round office button on the top left corner)
2. Go to "Save As" option
3. On the "Save As" option, select the "...... 97-2003.." option
4. Specify a filename and save the file at the desired location

This file can be seen by others using earlier version of Office. Please note that their are some enhancement features of Office 2007 which may not be visible to people who use older version of Office.

While saving the file go to office button Click of Save As --> Excel/Word/Powerpoint 97 - 2003 Formats.
It will open the file In all the versions from 1997 to 2007.

We have a big trobo Microsoft office 2007 and outlook
Stop working, and stop may printer, I dont think they have a right to stop our job.
What to do with this?I prefer Microsoft word, or Pad word. but the Pad word go to Office 2007. is hard. Naw I need to Printer and I am not get solution. Lexmark 2600 series. Make copyes. nothen more.

It is possible to save office documents from 2007 to a 2003 compatible format.
When ready to save your document, click 'Save As' from the File menu, and then choose the option
'Office 97-2003 document' and give the file a name as you normally would.
This will allow users of earlier versions of Microsoft Office to read these files.

in mo 2007 u must save as 2003/97 so u can open file any microsoft office

Here is the easiest solution - Choose to save the document in the older file format. For example, when you want to save a word 2007 document, click the big office button in the upper left corner, select "save as", then select "word 97-2003 document"

It is pretty much the same in the other office 2007 apps as well.

Also, there is a "compatibility pack" that can be installed for users of older office versions. So if your colleagues have office 2003, they can install the "compatibility pack" and it will allow them to open the newer file formats. It takes some effort on your colleagues part, but it is probably worth if if they don't plan on upgrading anytime soon.
