Can I remove the paper tray on C7280 - if so how?

You could try removing all of the paper in the drawer and use flashlight to look into where the drawer slides in. There might be some plastic "tabs" there that are designed to prevent the drawer from coming out too far. They may be preventing pushing the drawer back in and if you use something strong and thin, like a knife blade you can push the tabs (try not to break them) out of the way and slide the drawer in.

Hope this helps.

The paper drawer is stuck on my new Samsung CLP 310

Turn the printer off. Unplug it completely. Very Carefully, roll the printer onto one side. Push the paper drawer in as far as possible, then, by grabbing the bottom of the paper drawer, and the front of the drawer with your opposing hand, slowing slide the drawer to release the pressure and slide it out at the same time. Pressure from the rollers pulling paper from the drawer will jam the paper between the drawer so tightly that the weight of the machine will act as a clamp. When your remove the weight of the machine by rolling it on it's side, you can slide the drawer out easier.

My Mita DC 1860 is showing that the lower A4 drawer is out of paper yet the drawer is full. I have on done the drawer and checked for paper fragments after a jam. All has been vacuumed thoroughly. I'm...

On the cassette, there is a floating plastic piece that is on a hinge so it can swing up and down. This arm is supposed to come in contact with the paper as it is raised, and depending on the elevation of the arm, it will display the paper amount. This would be the first suspect for me, I would physically look for this plastic arm and ensure that it is free swinging and does not stick. Also, open and close the drawer and listen closely for the lift motor to activate. If you hear the lift motor, then you most likely have a problem with that plastic piece.

Bottom drawer won't close and other drawer won't open

Sounds like the paper lifting plate for the bottom drawer hasn't lowered. The only way I know of to correct this is by removing the paper pick-up assembly. It's very easy. Open up the right lower door and you will see the paper pick-up assemblies. All you have to do is remove the two left screws. On the right side remove the cover. Then unplug the yellow wires under that same cover. Remove the single screw as well. The pick-up assembly should come out and the plate should drop. Make sure that the plate is free by lifting it and it should drop. This plate is not part of the paper pick-up assembly but is in the slot you've created by removing the assembly. If this is OK then replaced the paper pick-up assembly by reversing he procedure to remove it. As for the other drawer it may be a little harder. Possibly trying to loosening it and/or removing the paper assembly may help. It would be very difficult to help you without being there to see what is hanging the drawer up. This should help a little. Good Luck.

What is a 991.00 error

Assuming you are working on a Lexmark C920. The 991.00 service paper option relates to paper being jammed behind one of the paper drawers. Remove the paper drawers and check the connecters and also the housing for the tray its self.

Clear any errant paper and replace the drawers and all should be well.

Paper jam check drawer two t640 printer

Hello there,

If you are getting "Paper Jam check drawer two message" I would suggest you to check for any paper stuck inside the paper drawer two. If you don't see any paper jammed inside drawer two, you might also want to check out if its is stuck anywhere in the paper path. Removing the paper jam should fix the issue. Try cleaning the pick rollers (the rollers which pick the paper) in drawer two. This should help fixing this issue.

Merry Christmas!
