Question about Televison & Video
Tv clicks and hss like its going to come on but does not. after several more attempts and about hour or so it finally turns on
This problem usually caused by a leak or bulging capacitors on the power supply section.some of this are caused by a 250 volts capacitor 2.2 uf it comes in a very small packge.

When the set ends up flashing the LED, it should be a repeatable count. Can you please report that count here? Also, since the set eventually works, I'd suspect a bad connection or a part that has changed value over time. The blink code will help to narrow down the offending circuit.

It's serviceable, and will need service on either the thermistor that is turning the set off, and/or the parts of the circuit that are overheating the thermistor.
