Please wait until the installer finished, the ms office need to install some elements that were unfinished .
And don't forget to put your Ms Office CD Installer in your CD-ROM.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

How to install ms word

Installing MS Word is a simple task, and can be done by anyone, withjust a little bit of knowledge about Microsoft's installation procedures. First, Turn on your computer and login to Windows. Insert yourMicrosoft Word CD into your computer's CD tray and wait for the autorun promptto start. If autorun does not work, open Windows Explorer, browse to your CDdrive, and double click on the setup.exe file. Enter your license key whenprompted. Your license key can be found either on your CD jewel case orslipcover, or on the box that your copy of Microsoft Office came in. Click on "Installation" and click the "Next"button, and the installation will commence. Remove the CD from your CD trayonce the installation has finished, and click the "Finish" button onthe installation window. You may be asked to reboot your computer. If so,restart your computer. Double click on the Microsoft Word icon that is on your desktop tostart the program, and enter in any registration or license information that isrequested.

Cannot download ms office home student, getting error message "Setup cannot find proofing.en-us\proof.fr\proof.cab. Browse to find a valid installation source and then click ok"

Hi, under control pael open ad and remove programs, uninstall this application if there and reboot and install again Or try going to your C drive in windows explorer and open the programs folder and check to see if this program is there, if so you can delete directly from there; be carefull you only delete what you need to. Windows Installer comes up every time

Its a corrupt file and its common to office xp too.

Usually you would stick your installation disk in and let it auto-start. when it offers to install you would click yes

it should then say you already have it do you want to repair

say yes and let it do its stuff.

do not do any office updates just yet but verify that office does indeed work properly again

if so then you should make sure your office is fully updated

While installing Microsoft Office 2007 following error occurs "windows installer cannot update one or more widows files"

Make sure that you dont have any other applications open during the install. For example, if you have a previous version of Office, close all programs, make sure MS Outlooks is closed.
If you are installing a fresh copy, there may be other applications or services running that need to be closed. One option could be to do a Safe Boot which will load up minimum drivers, then try installing MS Office - however you should not have to do this as I have never heard of this being necessary.

Hi,
Both office 2003 and 2007 are compatible . It would be nice if you install office 2007 as it has loads of new features. Its even more convenient to work in.

Thanks
