Kensington keyboard manual

Your model number isn't listed, but all published Kensington keyboard manuals are available at

My keyboard (model K39336) connected easily, so here's what I had to do. Ensure the Ipad Bluetooth is on in settings. Turn on the keyboard, and when you see a single blue light, press the connect button. The iPad will give you a four digit code to type in on the keyboard. When you type in this code, the iPad and keyboard become 'paired' and keyboard input is available whenever the keyboard is turned on.

How do I connect my Kensington folio via Bluetooth to my iPad 2?

I did not see any other comments, but to address the pairing issue between your Keyboard and iPad.... If your product is the actual KeyFolio Expert Multi-Angle Folio.

The KeyFolio Expert Multi Angle Folio and Keyboard uses a solid plastic frame to attach to the iPad. It's easy enough to slide the iPad in and out of the frame but the design means the case only works with the 4th and 3rd Generation iPad's and is not compatible with the iPad 2 or the original iPad.
Connecting the KeyFolio Expert case to your iPad is a simple process. Simply hold down the power button for over five seconds to put the keyboard into pairing mode and go to the Bluetooth settings menu on your iPad to connect it. Enter the four digit numerical code on your iPad when prompted to finalise the connection.

If you do not fall under that product, try these steps - they shuold be the same for most of Kensington's Products:

Connecting the Bluetooth keyboard to your iPad is a simple process. Simply turn it on, press the connect button in the top right corner of the keyboard and go to the Bluetooth settings menu on your iPad to connect it. The iPad will prompt you to enter a four digit code using the keyboard to finalise the connection. (the code should be 0000)

Usb receiver broke on my kensington pilotboard desktop set, any ideas

You can contact Kensington's customer service and see whether they will ship you a replacement. As an alternative, you could buy another Kensington Wireless Pilot Board mouse and use its receiver. As a third alternative, you could buy another Kensington wireless mouse or keyboard and see whether the receiver for that will pick up the Pilot Board keyboard. Finally, you could buy another wireless mouse or keyboard (not Bluetooth) and see whether its receiver will pick up the Pilot Board.

My keyboard is not working and I have just put in new batteries. However, the mouse is working fine.

You may need to resynch the keyboard with the receiver. I'm not 100% sure of the procedure for the Kensington PilotBoard - but normally all you need to do is hold down the Connect or Synch button on the receiver (in this case the USB Dongle) until the light begins to flash. Once it's flashing, press and hold the Connect or Synch button on the Keyboard (usually its on the back) until the light on the receiver stops flashing.
