Question about Kubota Garden
I have a Kubota lawn mower model RCK60P-28Z that does not crank over, start or run. When I turn the key on the lights on the dash come on but the engine does not crank over when the key is turned to the start position nor does the lights on the panel dim when the key is turned to the start position. I put a remote start button on the solenoid/starter and I can crank the engine over using the remote button but the engine still will not start even with the key on. When I energize the fuel pump with an using a jumper from the battery to the fuel pump the engine starts and runs until such time I remove the jumper from the fuel pump. I think this maybe an electrical problem but I am not sure since I do not have an electrical schematic of the wiring of the mower. Could it be one of the safety switches causing it or maybe the ignition switch itself. Your response is highly appreciated in resolving this problem.
You've answered your own question! Its an electrical fault and I would suspect its one of the shut off switches. You'll need a wiring diagram and patience. Check each switch in turn and lock them in the on osition while you check/test the next one. Good Luck.

The Drive Belt keeps coming off as soon as I engage the mower I replaced the Drive Pulley and put on a new belt but it still comes off. Any Ideas.

SOURCE: Motor backfires
It sounds like your engine is firing out of time.
Here is a link to the manual for your engine. It does contain some good info and I hope it will help you to solve this problem.
Best of luck!

The question is, do you have power to the starter? If not, the fault is either a button, or switch of some kind. Sounds like you tested the wiring to make sure it is clean and good and tight. Do make sure you have enough cranking amps and power to turn it over.
If you do have power to the starter, then the starter solenoid is likely bad.
