How do I remove the water outlet on a 2000 Oldsmobile intrigue GX 3.5 L V6?

OH man, thats a fun one!

You will need to remove the exhaust pipe from the rear manifold, remove the rear exhaust manifold to head bolts/nuts, remove the crossover pipe (which I believe is part of the rear manifold) to front manifold bolts. You will then be able to move the rear manifold enough to get at all the bolts for the water outlet and replace the four gaskets.

These are a real pain in the asphalt!

How do i change the manifold gasket on 1995 camaro

Intake or exhaust manifold? Intake manifold is gasket is a pretty big job that gets complicated even further with tight working quarters under the hood of a camaro. You have to remove the fuel injection system to access the intake. you may also have to remove some of the drive accessories, e.g, AC, alternator, etc. GM was using a two piece intake for a while. not sure if your car has one or not. you will need to get gaskets for the upper and lower intake. you will need a large assorment of tools and several hours to perform the task. Get a repair manual and look over the procedure before starting. Locate all the components the procedure mentions. Follw the instructions and take your time. Lay everything out in an organized manner as you pull it off your car. Keep everything clean and be careful not to drop anything down the intake ports...Reassembly is just the opposite, keeping things organized will save you time going back together. good luck. exhaust manifold will be a major pain in the backside. pay somebody if its the exhaust

My 2003 crown vic is making a loud noise from the top of the motor towards the back drivers side i have already changed the exhaust manifold gasket on that side

You changed the exhaust manifold gasket. Did you take a look at the exhaust pipe, the end connections into the exhaust manifold, and the connections into the catalytic converter? There could be a small hole that that is large enough for the sound to be heard. If you don't know what to look for, have a mechanic look over the entire exhaust system for you. You may be surprised at what they may find.

03 Monte Carlo no power

You have a vacum leak. It is going to be ya intake manifold. Best way to check it is to use some starting fluid and start the car and spray a very little around the intake. If the motors rpm goes up you know you have a bad intake gasket. If it doesnt then look for a vacum leak in the rear of your motor. There is about 4 vacum hoses there and one could be dryed out from the fire.

I have a 1994 Ford F150 extended cab 5.0 v8. I need to change the exaust manifold gaskets, how can I do this and what tools and what will I need to do?

Hi! Here are some guides on removing and replacing the exhaust gasket:
- You may need a 12mm and 14mm closed and opened wrench
- Make sure that the engine and exhaust is cooled down before performing the procedure to prevent injuries.
- The exhaust manifold may have a cover, please remove it using the wrench
- Once opened, remove the nuts of the exhaust manifold
- Support the exhaust before pulling it out for it may hit the ground
- Place the new exhaust gasket in place
- PUt the exhaust manifold and tighten the nuts evenly
Hope this helps and good luck!
