Go to 'printers and faxes' in control panel, make sure the Dell v510 is the 'default printer'.

SOURCE: Dell 922 All In One Printer wont print

I have this exact same problem, but when I replaced the black ink cartridge it worked for 3 days. Now it isn't recognized. The printer icon has a big question-mark over the black ink cartridge. Replacing it with another cartridge does nothing.

My solution. Throw out the darn thing and buy a laser jet.  Paying for ink is too expensive anyway.

SOURCE: 2 Problems: 1) Unable to get printer to print from desktop; 2) Kodak SW won't install on laptop

Download and install the new software and printer firmware from kodak.com (link below - firmware and software is the same for all the 5000 units). Do not use the CD, and Uninstall all previous versions before installing the new software you download from the site.

SOURCE: Cannot print with wirelessly networked printer

hi,

if printing from 2 other computer works fine, will i think its not an issue of IP address which changes somehow. but anyways, try to check if you still have other printer drivers under "PRINTERS" (see control panel). it should say HP Photosmart c6100 series. If you also have there a printer icon that says HP Photosmart c6100 series Copy1, try using it (right click on that icon and choose Set as Default Printer). If you only have HP Photosmart c6100 series under PRINTERS, try to right click, then choose properties. When Properties box is open, click on PORTS tab. then click on configure ports below. Try to type in the IP address of the printer under "Printer Name or Host name or IP address". make sure that you already printed network configuration page to get the exact ip address of the printer, Dont know how to print? do this.

PRINTING NETWORK CONFIGURATION PAGE
1. press setup, then scroll down and look for Network.
2. press okay on network, it will give you the first option "VIew network settings".
3. press okay on it, and it will give you the first option "Print network configuration page."
4. choose that and press okay. it will print the network config page. from this document, you will be able to see the IP address of the printer.

Please let me know if the issue is still not resolve so that i can go ahead and give you another possible solution.

Thank you so much.

SOURCE: Printer Spooler/Unwanted print job

Canceling print jobs can be frustrating - slow even when it works. Follow these steps exactly, and you're home free.
(I'm assuming you use XP, and if XP Pro that you have administrator permissions.)

- Start Button
- Accessories > Administrative Tolls > Services
- Click one time on Print Spooler in the list of services on the right (they are alphabetical)
- In the column on the left, click "Restart"
- When the progress bar diappears, you should be OK.

Dell V510 printer worked fine wirelessly until we got a new Belkin Router

The printer's IP address most likely needs to be changed.
Check the Belkin's IP address range (it maybe 192.168.2.***) and configure the printer's IP address accordingly.

I have a dell AIO 926 printer that was working fine and now, after not having been used for a few weeks, will not print. The printing status bar will not go past 50%. I have uninstalled/installed it twice...

It sounds like the printer itself has failed. I have literally dealt with 7 of this Dell AIO printers that have failed in the last 48 hours. Try attaching this printer to another computer to confirm. Hopefully you have a laptop or a friends computer you can take it to and try it on that. I would bet it will not function. If that's the case the printer has failed. How old is the printer? 4 of the 7 I have dealt with were just over 1 year old, literally weeks out of warranty, which seems to be very common for these Dell AIO units to fail just outside of warranty :(.
Let me know and I can help more, Tim

Dell 962

Have you tried to get it to print anything else? Like one of the internal reports, or just a document from your computer. That will determine if it can print at all.
Once you can establish that it can (or can't) print, then you can troubleshoot other items.

You did mention that you only use it a few times a week, it could be that the cartridge has dried up, or the print nozzle has become blocked.

Try the tests, and please inform.
