Question about Acer eMachines 350-2074 Netbook
Hi all i have a emachines em 350 and when i tried to reset to out of the box, it tried to recover for over 20 hours but was still the same i went to the bios to connect my external cd drive but the bios was password protected, i asked the girl who it belonged to did she know and the two possibilities were no good so has anyone any ideas hot to get into the bios on the netbook please, and thankyou for looking tojo
A difficult one as the passwords are composed, normally at random, by the owners of the PC's. So, there is no legal, easy way around it. I suggest you take it to a known good tech for assistance.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Here is the link to your service manual, when you click on it and bring it up...it is a pdf file so you'll need adobe or another pdf reader, go to page 40, that is the directions for resetting and removing the BIOS/hard drive password. Good luck
