fabi, if Im reading you right the machine fills with water and just sits there. Can you hear the motor running when it should be agitating? If so you might have a broken coupler. If the machine is quiet and just sits there, it could be the pressure switch. The first picture shows the pressure switch with the rubber hose and purple wire going to it (far left). There is no model number posted but this is a top loading Kenmore, should be close. Take the rubber tubing off the switch and blow into the switch with another piece of tubing. Does it start agitating? If so, there's your problem. If you do hear the motor running and it's not agitating it may be the motor coupler. If you need more assist...email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Catriver..post back.

You need to remove 2 screws in console. They might be in back, on ends or in front ends. If you can't see any, they are under the console end caps. To remove end caps, pry off by pulling caps towards outside from center part of cap. Pry toward you and towards outside. Then remove 2 screws and flip console up and back. Unplug connector to washer cabinet. Remove 2 gold colored clips by inserting straight screwdriver in them and prying back. Make not of their position first. Now tilt cabinet toward you and slide forward and off base.
To replace, tilt cabinet and slide under frame in front. Now lower cabinet on to frame, making sure cabinet is on frame on sides. Re-install clips by placing them in position and pushing down with palm of hand. Plug in connector, lower console and install screws.

No problem. What you want to do is this, remove the screws from the back panel first to remove that metal plate protecting the wires. Once off you need to take off the two covers on the sides of the control panel. There is one on each side, just pop them off. Once off you will see there is a screw under there holding the control panel in place. Remove the screws and that will lean back. Next take a flat head screw driver and put it under the lip of the lid on the front of the washer. I mean the lip that is about an inch down from the top on the front. Pry up and the whole lid will pop up. You will see the lid switch there held in by a screw, follow the wire to where it plugs in and unplug it and replace with the new one. Let me know if you have any other questions and if this was helpful to you. Always happy to help and good luck.

first of all. comming from a Sears Technician.. (don't yell) -- the delivery drivers only know about delivering stuff. they dont know too much,
if the two are the same size they can be stacked.
sometimes have to rig something up
and yes, for that model the top is removed, clips go on the rear and screwed at the front.
in some areas it is sold seperatly as a stacking kit

I just did it. All you do is pull up on the blue part -- put the fingers of both hands under the rim and pull. It isn't screwed or bolted on. If there's a lot of gunk built up, it's all the harder to pull up. Be prepared for some yucky stuff. It would be nice if that whole section would come out, since you have to clean the area below with Q-tips.
