Question about Samsung SGH-t629 Cellular Phone
The screen on my phone is completely fried. Most of it is white but it has some unrecognizable black areas and some faint color lines on a portion of the white screen. None of the screen menus show up and it appears that everything else works (receiving calls, dialing out even though the numbers don't show up_. What should I do and if a repair procedure is presented, where would I get the parts? thanks
Yes getting the phone apart to replace the flex cable is alot of work if you do not want to damage the phone. Putting it back together is a bit harder. I cracked my lcd screen and need to replace that i am just having trouble finding the lcd replacement.

Has anyone installed a new flex cable before. and if is, was it very difficult?

Flex cable could be torn. This was the problem when I took my phone apart.
