MTP is the protocol used by android to transfer data back and forth to your PC. It is nothing to be concerned about, and the setting can be left on all the time.

Hi emanual..your puk number you can get from your operator. If your phone has stopped working at all, then you can call up your operator's customer care and you can ask them for your puk number. They may ask you your details and then tey will provide you the Puk number for your sim.  Do remmber not to enter false puk as it can lock your phone after specific number of attempts. Hope this helps you out Emanuel. :)

SOURCE: i need driver called mtp usb device for my c2-03 mobile

Many devices use Microsoft's Media Transfer Protocol to synchronize with computers. Unlike standard USB mass storage devices, MTP devices don't behave like USB flash drives. Windows Media Player includes built-in support for MTP devices and can synchronize media files to and from them. You can download MP3s to your portable music player, cellphone or other MTP device using Windows Media Player's sync feature. The device appears in Windows Media Player when you connect it to your computer.

I need to set it to Mtp format so Rhaspody can

Hi There

When you say that the device needs to be recognized in rhapsody, as MTP device. Then i would say go to Menu->Settings->USB->UMS. Because some devices doesn't have MTP mode in samsung. So please check this out and revert for further clarifications.

Win Xp -> Go to Start-Control Panel - System - Device Manager - Last on the list is MTP player, click on it and select upgrade driver - i will choose myself - i there will be two options ( MTP player and USB mass storage device ) Pick Usb mass storage and then OK. Then your MP3 player is visible in My Computer

Main load failed error

The difference is that when you have your device on MTP mode, its recognize as a Portable device...You cant modify the settings on MTP mode...When its on MSC mode, its recognize as a disk drive...thats when you can modify the drive files..to change the mode..go to menu, settings, USB mode and there you should find the MSC and MTP mode..Hope that helps
Please rate accordingly.
Thank You
