Question about Samsung AQV24NSD Neo Forte Wall Mounted Mini Split Heat Pump - 24,000 BTU

Open Question

Hi i have a AQV24NS samsung split system, i have checked the water hose to make sure there are no blockages, i have cleaned the filters on the inside unit and checked for excessive dirt/dust inside the internal unit. What is happening is when i turn the unit on in a/c mode it runs and cools fine for about 30mins-acouple of hours then auto shuts down with a red/green flashing light indicating i'm assuming somekind of error. If you try to switch it back on immediately it just shuts down again. If you leave it for 1-3 hours it will turn on and run normally for again 30min-2hrs and shut down. I have tried turning off the power and turning it back on at the breaker on the external unit and testing it now, seems ok. What do you think is the problem if it shuts down again?

SOURCE: I have a samsung air

Please check outdoor unit. Compressor or fan motor getting high amps due to overheat. Clean condenser coil. If still problem, replace running capacitor. If out door fan less rpm replace fan capacitor. In some unit 2 in 1 capacitor is there. So replace one capacitor will rectify fan and compressor problem. Thanks. Helpful?

SOURCE: Hi I a have Samsung

Hi clawrence001,

I believe the main fan may be overheating. I'd inspect it first. Normally these fans can be hooked up to Amp meters, if the Amp reading is higher than the specified ranges on the motor, then the motor is faulty. Be sure to also thoroughly clean the unit when opening it. Poor ventilation can lead to overheating.

Kind Regards :-)

Neff washing machine stops half way through the cycle and the high water level light comes on

possible hose blockage or filter blockage. when half way through the cycle the machine evacuates the water to replace for rince cycle or to start spin cycle if the way is blocked the water cant go out so the machine can not finish the cycle, and usually the door will stay locked so not to flood, when the water is still in the machine. remove and check the drainage hose for kinks and blockage. also remove and check the filter under the machine. (be careful as this will let out all the water so have some towels or bucket ready to catch the water. once the filter is clean replace and restart your machine.
I hope this was useful.

hi make sure there is def enough water in the cooling system as a leaking hose or split radiator hose can leak water out so it cant pump around. Second make sure your thermostat is working, and last it all else fails check your water pump isnt getting worn

When error message 4E is displayed, you should clean the water hose mesh filter. To do this:

1. Turn off the water source to the washing machine.
2. Unscrew the hose from the back of the washing machine.

Error code F05 indicates that the water level switch is stuck in the closed position, this is probablly due to a blocked filter or pump.
To gain access to the pump and filter, remove the lower rear panel of washer, locate and remove large black hose fastened to the bottom of tub.
Remove filter inside hose and clean, check inside pump for any blockage or restriction, and make sure the plastic chamber is clean where the small plastic hose is fastened to, as this goes up to the water level switch, and can sometimes get blocked.

Refit filter and hose, making sure it is securely on and fastened, and test, if fault still persists, then you will probably neeed to fit a new water level switch, or preesure switch as it is usually called.
Please rate my solution to your problem.
Thankyou.
