Question about Baby Lock Sewing Machines
I am sewing a straight seam and my upper thread keeps breaking. I have adjusted the upper tension but the thread keeps breaking. My machine has just come back from a servicing.

Mmmm...., maybe NOT the solution, maybe, just a key.

if thread is good quality you may have a sharp groove in your needle plate hole from needle breakage. if so, polish with emery tape.

It is possible that you threaded the machine with the presser foot down.
This creates loopy stitching because the thead never entered the tension control. Foot down = closed tension.
Put the settings back to their normal settings.
Raise the presser foot and re thread the machine.
