Dish Network (Echo Star Communications) is a problem company. The best solution to your problem is to switch to cable or Direct-TV.

Dish Network should be avoided at all costs.

dish does have problems and charge too much. But I think you're being biased. With one twitch of one of my finger my antenna input came off from the back of my dish receiver when I was trying to take off a bunny ear antenna cable.
