Hard reset. You will not be able to get around lock screens.

Try it too many times (10 I believe) and it will Reset back to factory settings and you should be ok to use it again.

Update your firmware... Go to cruz reader website and follow the directions on updating or downloading firmware... This worked for me... Unlocked and brought cruz back to factory settings good luck

How to unlock

Depending on the firmware revision you may be able to reset the password through Google Authentication so first your tablet must:
1. Have been registered with a Google Account
2. Be connected to the internet
3. Have the latest version of Cruz Reader Firmware

If the above is try, try the following to reset the pattern:
1. Try to unlock the pattern 3 to 5 times until you see "Forgot Pattern" pop-up
2. Click on the "Forgot Pattern link
3. Follow the steps to reset the pattern

I forgot the pattern to unlock my Cruz reader (R102). How do I reset it to its original settings? I don't mind loosing whatever info I have, as long as I can unlock it.

Hi, enter wrong pattern few times and then it will ask you for your google account password :)
